Police investigate personal robbery

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police were called to a home near the 3100 block of Plains just after 11:00 Sunday night.

Officers talked to a male who told them he was assaulted on his way home from a Super Bowl party. The victim said that he was struck from behind by three subjects, but no weapon was seen. The suspects then took money from his pockets after the assault.The victim had to be treated at the hospital for his injuries.

Police said the fist suspect is a black male, 5'9" with a heavy build. The second suspect was described as a black male, 5'7" with a think build and short hair. The only information on the third suspect is that he might have been a white male.

No arrests have been made, and anyone with information is asked to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.
