AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Today is the day many Verizon customers have been waiting for.
Today, the cell phone company released the iPhone to their customers, becoming the first cellular service provider to have it other than AT&T.
Verizon however offers unlimited data, something that AT&T doesn't.
But what if you already have a plan and a good phone or want to switch from another service?
"We have a trade in program which allows a customer from another carrier or even us to trade in their phone for a gift card," said Paul Jackse NW Texas Verizon Manager.
Jackse says if you already have an iPhone that it's service will not work with Verizon and you will have to trade it in.
