AMARILLO, TX -- There'll be some changes made to the "Y-M-C-A's" upcoming baseball program...but only in the name.

They're removing the word "club" and inserting the word "select" in it's place.

They say it will make it easier for kids to play together on the same teams and remove any negative connotations sometimes associated with the word club....as they gear up for another new season.

"It's about the people and since we're a non-profit and what it stands for. It's about the smile on the kids' face to the parent stopping me in the parking lot and thanking us for the program...it's what its about," according to the sports director, Will Mitchell.

The program's costs remain the same: $400 for a team sponsorship and only $90 per child to play on a team.
