AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Officials are needing information regarding a wreck that took place this past summer on May 20.

49-year-old Tamela Ruth Dragoo was killed in a one-vehicle motorcycle accident 13 miles south of Claude on U.S. Highway 207 heading towards Palo Duro Canyon.

She was riding with a companion, Roger Allen Henderson, who survived the wreck.

The Armstrong Sheriffs Department and the Texas Department of Public Safety initially handled the wreck, but the Potter County District Attorney is still needing some more information.

"We are needing individuals that knew her or are related to her to come forward as we've not been able to find any kind of next of kin and we'd like efforts to try to do that. We also are looking for individuals that may have witnessed the wreck and would like for them to come forward also," said Randall Sims, Potter County 47th District Attorney.

Sims said he would also like to speak to individuals who may have already spoken to Armstrong County and D.P.S. officials.

Dragoo was previously known as Tamela Ruth Gibson and resided in Amarillo at the time of her death.

Call the District Attorney's office at (806) 379-2325 with any information.
