AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Pronews 7 has learned the IMAX Experience has landed in Amarillo.
According to a press release from Regal Entertainment, IMAX films started showing Friday at the the Regal Amarillo Star Stadium on Friday. The first movie featured was "I Am Number Four." The movie was shown through a newly installed IMAX digital projection system, a specially designed screen and an audio system delivering laser-aligned digital sound, according to the company.
Other movies scheduled to come to IMAX include: Mars Need Moms 3D (3/11), Sucker Punch (3/25) and Born To Be Wild 3D (4/8).
