AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Hundreds of people got the chance to try the food and wine of more than 50 restaurants all in one place. It was for the Restaurant Roundup and it's put on by the Panhandle Restaurant Association and Atmos Energy.

This year they added a chef competition event that's kind of like the TV show "Chopped." It's not all about the good food, every single penny made will be given away to Meals on Wheels and to Amarillo area students in need of scholarships.

Organizers said it's the only event that benefits Meals on Wheels in our area. Last year they raised $13,000 and this year they're hoping for $15,000.
