DALHART, TEXAS -- UPDATE:
In a statement to ProNews7, the Dalhart police department said the missing women were located in Dumas at a Motel. They were reunited with family members about 8:00 p.m. Wednesday night. A motel clerk told the DPD that he saw this news story air and called police.
PREVIOUSLY POSTED:Police in Dalhart are asking for the public's help locating two missing people in the Texas Panhandle.
According to the police department, Antonette "Toni" Louise Kilber and her daughter, Kimberly Ann Kilber were reported missing Sunday, March 6th. Police said that Antonette was suddenly struck with dementia within the last three days before she was reported missing and reportedly said she was going to visit family members who were all deceased. Police said she is familiar with Sunray and Whiteface, Texas and Mesa, Phoenix and Sholo, Arizona. Antonette has a history of heart problems as well.
Her daughter, Kimberly, is described by police as being severely mentally disabled, police said she would not leave her mother if she became incapacitated.
Neither of the women took any clothing items with them or any overnight necessities. All their medications were also left at their home.
