AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Two men were arrested Thursday night after allegedly pointing a gun at a man and demanding his money.
Darrion Rashad Morgan, 17, and Michael Allen Casel, 18, both of Amarillo, were booked into the Potter County Detention Center on the charge of Aggravated Robbery.
Amarillo Police say the two suspects approached a man at the Cathy Point Apartment Complex in the 2700 block of Grand at around 9:20 Thursday night. He allegedly pointed a pistol at the man and demanded his wallet. The victim gave his wallet, keys and wedding ring to the suspects, police said.
The two suspects were seen running in a nearby area and police entered the home they went in. Officers found one suspect hiding in the attic. Both were taken into custody.
The incident remains under investigation, but police say the weapon recovered at the scene was determined to be a toy handgun.
