Vampires seem to be all the rage with recent movies like 'Twilight' being released. This time, the bloodsucking seems to be real.

According to the Associated Press, an Arizona man has been sentenced to three years probation for stabbing a man. It may seem like an ordinary story, but let's dig a little deeper.

So, why did he stab the man? According to the Arizona Republic, Aaron Holmer, 24, of Chandler Ariz. stabbed his roommate because he would not let him suck his blood. The newspaper reports Robert Maley, 25, once let his roommates suck his blood. When Maley refused to do it a second time on Oct. 4, he was stabbed.

Maley reportedly said the two men were into "vampire stuff."

Homer pleaded guilty to aggravated assault. He was sentenced Monday.
