AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Two local and talented groups came together to create a double bill program masterpiece.
The West Texas A&M Opera Workshop and Symphony Orchestra collaborated to present 'Bohemios" and 'Trial by Jury'.
"The students have really enjoyed it because they have gotten an opportunity to do things that they've never been able to do before. We got sophomores and freshmen that have never been on a stage before so it's pretty exciting for them to get here, learn about opera and learn how much they love it," said Dr. Cloyce Kuhnert, WTAMU Voice & Opera Assistant Professor.
'Bohemios', a Spanish opera, tells the story of young singer in love with an amateur opera composer.
'Trial by Jury', in English, is about a man who is taken to court by his fiancee after dumping her for another woman.
