AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Former Republican U.S. Senator Rick Santorum was in Amarillo Thursday night speaking at the Annual CareNet B anquet. He is in Amarillo promoting the center and their stance on premarital abstinence and helping women in unplanned pregnancies.
He applauded the center's purpose and life support to women and families through education and resources.
"We've seen over the past several months how women don't get proper care from a lot of the Planned Parenthood clinics and other clinics that are supposedly about women's health and then you have a place like CareNet that really does care about women and care about the family and everyone involved," said Santorum.
We also asked him about rumors of his run for president. "It's been a great privilege to travel around the country and get a sense of the concerns from the American people," said Santorum
While he did not say no, he did say he will announce his decision in the next few weeks.
