One of Amarillo's favorite fun spots is set to open Saturday afternoon.
Wonderland Park will be opening for its 60th season Saturday at 1:00 p.m. It will close at 6.
"If gas prices are keeping your family home this summer, drive no farther than Wonderland for a weeknight getaway or a weekend break with the entire family," said Paul Borchardt, Wonderland President. "This 60th anniversary season and every season, Wonderland is committed to providing the best experience possible."
Borchardt says the amusement park now offers 28 rides to offer entertainment for the entire family. For the first time in its history, the park will open at 4:00 p.m. on Fridays starting June 3. For a complete schedule, go to Wonderland's website.
