Man stabbed in weekend fight

PAMPA, TEXAS -- Police in Pampa are investigating a stabbing that happened early Sunday morning.

According to a release, a 50-year-old man was stabbed around 1:30 a.m. Sunday. Witnesses told police the man got into an altercation with another person and was stabbed.

Police say they do not know any information about what the altercation was about, however, they are looking for a suspect.

The victim was air lifted to an Amarillo hospital and was last listed in serious condition but he is expected to recover, police said.
