Amarillo Police need your help finding a suspect they say robbed a local business at gunpoint and ended up taking the entire cash register.

According to a report, a white male allegedly entered Funtime Sweepstakes at 3614 SW 6th Ave with what's being described as a silver pistol. The store employee told police that the suspect demanded the cash register be opened and money be given to him.

After the clerk refused, police say a struggle ensured with the suspect over the gun.

The suspect was then able to get free from the clerk and allegedly grabbed the cash register off the counter and ran out the door.

He's being described as a white male in his 20s, six-foot-three and weighing 175 pounds. Police say he was wearing a white t-shirt and blue jeans. He also had a "cross" type tattoo near his left eye.

If you have any information on this crime, you are asked to call Amarillo Crime Stoppers at 806-374-4400.

Here is the location of the robbery.
