AMARILLO, TEXAS -- The Amarillo Independent School District is looking to make future improvements and is asking for parents help.
Every couple of years the district asks for feedback from parents, and their responses are especially important when it comes to the almost 32,000 students they educate.
"This survey is a great way for us to really get our fingers in and understand what the parents at all these different campuses feel and think about our district," said Holly Shelton, A.I.S.D. Communications Director. " Like what their experiences are, whether they have good interactions with the administrators, whether they feel that the campus is a safe place for their students, and whether they feel like when they have a problem they have communication with the right people and somehow that gets resolved. Then, we hope to use that just to make our schools a better place for learning,"
The survey can be completed online on the A.I.S.D. homepage or through the mail-in form.
Shelton says parents will have until the end of the month to complete the survey, which has 60 questions and takes less than 10 minutes to complete.
