AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If your interested in looking for a new job or changing careers you may want to get ready because more than 90 employers will be on site for one day, and some may even hire you on the spot.

The 2011 Spring Amarillo Job Fair will take place April 12 at the Amarillo Civic Center.

"Nearly all the employers there are hiring employees. So, they may just take applications there and then call you back, but we do encourage you to dress as you would for an interview like you were going in to interview even if you are just filling out an application," said Millie Barney, Amarillo Job Fair Committee.

Here's a glimpse of employers that are looking to hire.

"Western National Life will be there -- they use to be AIG and they are doing a big hiring blitz right now.  Ben E. Keith, Pantex, Amarillo College, Dental Network of America -- another call center here in Amarillo. They'll all be there -- we have a number of employers," said Barney.

The job fair will run from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. in the south exhibit hall.

Barney suggest you dress professionally and to bring plenty of resumes and needed information to fill out applications.

She also says remember to leave the kiddos at home or with a sitter.
