Each weekday morning, Pronews 7 will be on the lookout for news and events in your town! Here are today's headlines:

CLOVIS
According to the Clovis News Journal, the City of Clovis will officially take over operations at th Chaparral Country Club Sunday. According to the Parks and Recreation Director, it will keep its name for the time being.

PORTALES
A large sandlot is affecting residents, according to the Portales News Tribune. It's a 40 acre lot that residents say blows sand to their homes.

GUYMON
Guymon Jr High Academic Team is headed to the national tournament, the Guymon Daily Herald reports. That's after winning the district, regional and state tournament.

 BORGER
Subway will be closing in May, The Borger News Herald reports. It will move to a new location but one has yet to be decided.
