A two-vehicle collision claimed the life of a Skellytown woman Friday afternoon.

According to a report, 55-year-old Diana Larkin, of Skellytown, was killed at the intersection of FM 1046 and US 83 west of Briscoe.

Police say Larkin pulled out in front of a truck tractor semi-trailer. The truck, driven by Cody Robbins of Quannah, Texas, struck the side of Larkin's vehicle broadside near the left door.

Larkin was taken to the hospital in Pampa where she was pronounced dead. Robbins was not injured.

Several trucks parked on the side of US 83 next to FM 1046 that caused a visibility obstruction, officials said. The semi tried to avoid the vehicle but was unable to miss it.
