Last year, the president of Underwood law firm in Amarillo was invited to speak to Danish agriculture lawyers. Their relationship has grown since then.

This year, the Danish group of lawyers made the trip to Amarillo. They've been here since April 30, 2011 and toured the area to places like Boys Ranch and Cadallaic ranch.

That's where the group of about 30 were surprised by Stanley Marsh. "Stanley went out Saturday night painted the Demark flag on the cadillacs, guarded them so no one would spray pain them and waited for our group to arrive sunday afternoon. totally great experience," said Jennifer Mannon, with the Underwood Law Firm.

While the trip is fun, it's also a way to see how these European lawyers could make some investments in the Texas panhandle. "We can see there are many possibilities. You have a lot of of natural resources, gas, oil, a lot my clients they are in the wind-turbine business and the agriculture business, so it's quiet good for us," said Jacob Ploug, a Danish Attorney.

The group will leave on Sunday but not before they see Palo Duro canyon while riding on horse back.
