AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Update

Pronews
7 has learned the accident happened just before 5:00 p.m. Sunday.

The Park Service says two people were attempting to climb their sandrail up a large hill. A sandrail is a two-seater, real wheel drive buggie, similar to an off-road vehicle. When climbing the hill, the sandrail slipped.

Two men were seen pulling Casandra Dickson out of the car by a Ranger. CPR was started and Lifestar was called.

Dickson died at the scene. The car was driven by her common-law husband.

This is the first accident in the area in years that has resulted in a fatality.
