AMARILLO, TX -- The Maverick Boys & Girls Club of Amarillo is looking for a little assistance as they help out some parents throughout the summer.

Their summer program costs $100.00 per child for ten weeks, including meals and a full day of activities...while actually costing the club about $650.00 for the program.

So, they're turning to Amarillo residents to help out this summer with donations to make sure these kids needs will be filled, according to board member, Marty Rowley.

"250 kids during the summer, typically from 7:30 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. and so that's all day while their parents are working and to feed the kids during that time as well."

For more information on the program on how you can help, just give them a call at 372-8393.
