AMARILLO, TX -- Highland Park students spent a lot of time outside on Friday with their annual Sports-o-Rama.
Students, teachers and some parents took part in this year's event, that shows kids that they can have fun just saying yes to playing outside while saying no to drugs.
And as a bonus, it's also designed to get kids in the habit of going outside and not spending all their free time indoors, says coach Terry Brax.
"We really try to impress upon our kids to get up off that couch, get away from the video games, things like that," Brax said. "They've got basically these same things and materials at their houses and they could get with their friends and have their own competition that way."
The event is sponsored by Highland Park's "Just Say No" club.
