AMARILLO, TEXAS -- An 11-year-old girl was transported to a Lubbock hospital after Police say she pedaled in front of a 2009 Chevy Avalanche.
It happened Thursday afternoon at about 4:28 near the area of 34th and Milam. According to Amarillo Police, an 11-year-old girl pedaled in front of a 2009 Chevrolet Avalanche.
The girl was transported to a local hospital with possible severe injuries. She was transferred to a Lubbock hospital for further evaluation and treatment. Officials say she was alert, conscious and talking with medical staff so her injuries do not appear to be life threatening.
Amarillo Police are investigating this collision.
