AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Police were called to Northwest Amarillo where the caller saw a suspect forcing a female in a vehicle and did not let her leave.
Officers were able to find the vehicle at the end of a cul-de-sac in the 2600 block of Northwest 12th where the suspect then fled on foot.
A DPS helicopter was able to assist in locating the suspect. He was found hiding in brush along the railroad tracks, police said. He was identified as Joshua Anthony Polley, 21 of Amarillo. Polly was taken to the Potter County Detention Center and booked for Unlawful Restraint and Evading Arrest/Detention.
The victim was identified as a 21 year of female who has a personal relationship with Polley. She reported to police that she was having an argument with him and he kept her from getting out by pulling her back into the vehicle.
She was not injured but officers described her as having torn clothing.
