WELLINGTON, TEXAS -- Police in Wellington continue to investigate a homicide from early Saturday morning.
Police say there was an altercation between 58-year-old Ivory Darton, 48-year-old Helena Darton and 51-year-old Hinaco Contreras at about 4:00 a.m. Saturday. Specific details on the altercation are not being released.
Contreras was transported to Collingsworth General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Helena was also transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Ivory is charged with homicide and aggravated assault and was booked into the Collingworth County Jail.
An autopsy is currently being performed in Fort Worth and the investigation is ongoing.
