AMARILLO, TEXAS -- An Amarillo man was hospitalized with non life-threatening injuries after two men approached him, demanded his wallet and cut him.
The incident happened at about 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the area of 3rd and S. Milam. The victim, 41-year-old of Amarillo told police two men tried to rob him and one of the men cut him with a knife. He says he was cleaning up fuel tt had spilled and two black males approached him.
According to police, one of the men demanded his wallet and when he refused, he was stabbed with a pocket knife by one of them. He received a laceration to the top of his left arm and was hospitalized.
No arrests have been made in this case but both suspects are described as black males about 25-years-old, five foot six inches tall.
