AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police are seeking information in an early morning shooting at a convenience store that appears to be random.

Witnesses tell police a male customer had finished making a purchase inside the Mini Mart in the 4000 block of South Washington when he was walking out to his truck. That's when he was shot, police said.

When officers arrived, neither the suspect or the victim was found but a 29-year-old male soon arrived at a local hospital with gun shot wounds.

The victim told police a black male walked up to the passenger side of his vehicle and pointed a pistol at him and began firing. He then drove home and his wife took him to the hospital.

He suffered four gunshot wounds to the forearm and the stomach area but the injuries are non-life threaetning.

Police say this incident appears to be a totally random incident.

According to officers, the shooter is a black male wearing a red hoodie and a red bandana. Witnesses way he was in a black SUV.
