BORGER, TEXAS -- A Borger man has been indicted by a Hutchinson County Grand Jury for Capital Murder.
The murder happened April 21 when police say Gregorio Felan, 47, intentionally murdered 97-year-old Lois Kimbrell. Felan was indicted Thursday.
According to police, Felan murdered Kimbrell in the course of sexually assaulting her. She suffered multiple stab wounds as well as blunt force head trauma.
If convicted, Felan faces life in prison without parole. The State can also seek the death penalty.
Felan is being represented by Amarillo attorneys Jeff Blackburn and Adam Tisdale. He remains in the Hutchinson County Jail with his bong being denied.
