AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Kids and animals had a chance to show their creative side at the Amarillo Zoo today.
This morning, children and their parents visiting the Zoo got to participate in the first ever "I Drew At The Zoo" event.
Various creative booths were set up around the Zoo where kids could draw pictures, make snake bracelets or even have a caricature of themselves drawn.
Even a few of the animals got a chance to get involved with the projects, something Zoo officials say is great for the kids.
The Amarillo Zoo will also be hosting an "Animal Play Day" on July 23rd.
