EAGAR, N.M. (AP) - The biggest wildfire in Arizona history is now 82 percent contained after burning through 538,000 acres in the White Mountains.

Fire managers say they will put crews on suppression efforts on the southeast portion of the Wallow wildfire as it burns in the Blue River drainage.

The fire threatens residential, commercial and out buildings in the Blue area. Structure protection and patrolling of the line for hot spots in the vicinity of Luna, N.M., continues. Of the total acres of the fire, 15,407 acres has burned in New Mexico.

The fire started May 29 and has destroyed 32 homes. It's believed to have been caused by a campfire.
