33 pounds of hydroponic marijuana was seized Wednesday evening on Interstate 40 near Conway.

The Department of Public Safety says Troopers stopped a 2010 Chrysler Sebring on a traffic violation. The occupants refused consent to search and as a result a K-9 was called to check the vehicle.

A positive alert was made by the K-9 unit and a probable cause search was then conducted. 34 bundles of hydroponic marijuana was found in the trunk. It is estimated that it's worth $178,365.

Blaine Ni Castro, 46, of Tempe, Ariz. was arrested and taken to the Carson County Jail.

Officials say the marijuana was from Phoenix and was on its way to Indianapolis, Ind.
