A fire, reported at the Phillips plant near Borger is being allowed to let itself burn, officials said.
The fire reported Thursday afternoon also caused a grassfire. Borger Fire Department responded and quickly extinguished that blaze.
Danny Richards, Emergency Management Coordinator for Hutchinson County told Pronews 7 a leak in one of the pipelines caused the fire.
The fire should be fully extinguished by Thursday night, Richards said.
No injuries were reported and the fire is of no danger to the community.
