AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A man remains in critical condition after a major motorcycle crash Sunday evening.

Officials say Freddy Flores, 26, was traveling westbound on East Amarillo Blvd. around 10:30 p.m. Sunday on a 1998 custom motorcycle. He then allegedly struck a 2003 Pontiac that was traveling eastbound on East Amarillo Blvd. The car was driven by Ashley Lindsey, 18. It was turning northbound onto Martin Road.

Flores was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries. Pronews 7 confirmed Monday afternoon that Flores remains in critical condition.

He was not wearing a helmet.

Lindsey along with a passenger were taken to a hospital with non-life-theatening injuries.

According to police, charges are pending in this case.
