AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Amarillo Police are investigating an aggravated robbery that happened early Sunday morning.
Officers were sent to 2801 E. Amarillo Blvd. #104 on a robbery. Once on scene, police found 31-year old Yai Deng. Deng reported that two men entered his rom while he was sleeping. One suspect assaulted him with a knife before taking his wallet. The first suspect is described as a black male, 20's, wearing a black shirt and blue jeans. The second suspect is described as a small white male, wearing blue shorts, a white t-shirt, and a goatee. The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash. Deng was taken to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries. The case is under investigation, police are asking you to call them at 378-3038 if you have any information.
