Weekend bar fight ends in stabbing

AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A 25-year-old man is now behind bars after a weekend bar fight ended up with him stabbing a bar employee.

Amarillo Police say a fight broke out at Tejano Wild West located at 1200 SE 10th around 1:45 Sunday morning. As Police approached the doors, they say 25-year-old Joshua Isaiah Fuentes pulled out a knife and swung it at the employees.

One of the employees was stabbed in the chest and taken to a local hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Fuentes was treated for minor injuries and booked into the Potter County Correction Center on a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
