CANYON, TEXAS -- The man who police say killed a Canyon man in Dec. 2010 has pleaded guilty.
Elisandro "Alex" Antonio Nava pleaded guilty in a Randall County Court Tuesday. He was sentenced to 35 years in the Texas Department of Corrections.
It was in December 2010 when Henry "Hal" Moreland was found dead in his Canyon home. Autopsy results show he was killed from blunt force trauma to the head.
Nava, then 45, was apprehended by local authorities just days after the homicide.
