In this world we're getting used to all kinds of extreme events… Extreme Skating, Extreme Biking, and now Extreme Shoplifting?!
According to The Associated Press, Saturday, Sept. 3, a southern Mississippi man decided to get a little daring for his shoplifting experience in a D'Iberville grocery store. Refusing to pay for his food, he decided to smuggle out a few items by stuffing them into his cargo shorts. Two of the items, were live lobsters! It could be a pretty risky endeavor.
In all, Police Chief Wayne Payne, reports two bags of jumbo shrimp and a pork loin were found in the 35 year old Nathan Mark Hardy's pants along with the two lobsters.
During his attempted escape, he threw the pork loin at employees of the local store, but did not get away.
He was arrested at the location and remained in Harrison County jail through Wednesday with no bond pending a hearing on a probation violation. The shoplifting charge itself was considered a misdemeanor.
