CLOVIS, N.M. (AP) - The Clovis Police Department and Curry County Sheriff's Office are investigating the theft of three vehicles that were found on fire in separate locations in Clovis within a two-hour time frame early Tuesday.

Clovis police tell the Clovis New Journal that one of the vehicles belongs to the son-in-law of Municipal Judge Jan M. Garrett and was stolen from the judge's Clovis residence.

A second vehicle was stolen from Clovis, while the third was taken from Artesia.

It's not clear if there's a connection between the stolen vehicles.
