AMARILLO, TEXAS -- If you have ever wanted to learn about medicine, there's a program for you over the next six months at Texas Tech Health Sciences Center.
From now until February, the school is hosting a series of Community Medical School classes so citizens can learn more about medicine.
Every class has a theme and Tuesday's was medical myths. Dr. Steve Urban says there are a few out there that need to be cleared up.
"Maybe that everybody should take a vitamin every day, maybe that anti-oxident supplements are good for your health, things like that, then I have some other ones you may not have thought about before."
The next class will be on Oct. 11, Dr. Rodney Young will discuss healthcare reform.
