It's happened several times this year and this week was no exception. According to AAA Texas, Amarillo is once again the home of the most expensive gas in the state. Amarillo's average is at $3.53 per gallon.
AAA Texas conducts this survey weekly and found the average price at the pump across the state was at $3.44 per gallon. That's 4 cents down from last week's average.
The national average went down 3 cents to land at $3.62 per gallon.
As for the cheapest gas in Texas, Fort Worth's average is at $3.39 per gallon.
