Two women were killed Wednesday morning in a two-vehicle collision in Carson County.

According to Texas Department of Public Safety Donna M. Centers, 60, of Chuckey, Tenn. was traveling westbound on Interstate 40 in a Ford F-250 pickup truck. That's when DPS said her truck ran off the road. Centers' truck reentered the road and struck a Ford Expedition. The Expedition was driven by Thomas J. Littlefield of Albuquerque, N.M.

Both of the vehicles overturned, troopers said. Linda L. Littefield, 50, was ejected from the Expedition as it rolled.

The Ford pickup came to a rest at the median.

Centers and Linda Littlefield were pronounced dead at the scene. According to DPS, Linda Littlefield was not wearing a seat belt. An autopsy has been ordered.

Thomas Littlefield was taken to a local hospital for internal injuries. He was last listed in critical condition.
