PAMPA, TEXAS -- One of Pampa's medical facilities received good news recently -- the Pampa Heart Clinic is being given special accreditation.
After being accredited three years ago, the Pampa Heart Clinic has been approved a second time to receive accreditation in Nuclear Cardiology from the Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Nuclear Medicine Laboratories(ICANL) .
This accreditation is only given to a facility after the submission of paperwork and extensive reviews by a panel of experts.
"They even do an on site visit. They come in to the facility to make sure that your paperwork matches up with what you said, what you sent it. That you're in compliance with the rules and regulations", said Nuclear Medicine Technologist at the Pampa Heart Facility, Amanda Cabrales.
This prestigious accreditation serves as proof for patients that Pampa Heart Clinic is a quality medical facility.
