AMARILLO, TEXAS -- A room unnamed for the past 13 years at the Kids, Incorporated Warehouse finally received a name Tuesday.
Kids, Inc. formally dedicated their Executive Conference Room to Tol and Mary Ware, lifetime supporters of Kids, Incorporated.
Mary Ware served on the Board of Directors for Kids, Inc. for many years and after her recent passing, Kids, Inc. thought what better way to say 'thank you' to both Mary and her husband, Tol, than by giving their names to a part of the organization they supported for so long.
"This building is called the Warehouse for a reason. When we did our capital campaign in 1998, the Ware family gave the big gift to help us get this building purchased and just to kind of polish off the cheery on the top of the ice cream here, to put their name in the prettiest room that we have in the building, I think that says it all", Kids Inc. President & CEO, Jimmy Lackey.
The Kids, Incorporated Warehouse is located at 27th and Osage.
