AMARILLO, TEXAS -- Although it's only September, the temperatures are starting to drop a little bit, which means our Panhandle kids are going to need coats to keep them warm.
With that in mind, this year's Eveline Rivers Coat Drive got started Tuesday.
The line stretched two blocks along Jefferson Street, with families awaiting their turns to try on new coats.
While donations have been really good this year, Eveline herself says there are a still a few areas that they could use some help.
"We need coats 10,12 and 14,16 both in boys and girls, and so if somebody had those in great shape in their closet, if they'd like to buy those or if they'd like to give monetary means so we can replenish that supply that would be wonderful."
If you have some coats to donate, you can always drop them off here at Pronews 7 as well.
