An Amarillo man was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries after police say he darted out in front of a truck Tuesday evening.
According to Amarillo Police, 40-year-old Patricio Candelaria darted out in front of a Ford truck in the 1500 block of S. Grand Street at about 7:40 Tuesday evening.
Candelaria was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police said alcohol was a factor in the collision.
Investigation continues in this case.
