Police are investigating a case where a man said he was pistol whipped and robbed Tuesday evening.
It all happened at an apartment parking lot in the 2700 block of North Grand just before 9:00 p.m. Tuesday. The victim told police he had two men come up to him as he was seated in his vehicle.
One of the men then began pistol whipping him while the other man started searching through his car, police said. The suspects allegedly took the victim's car keys, wallet and an undisclosed amount of money.
Police said the suspects then fled in a black car. The make and model are unknown.
One of the suspects is described as a black male, unknown age, about five-foot-eight inches, skinny build with a red sweater. The other suspect is described also as a black make, unknown age or height. He was seen wearing a black sweater and cap.
The victim was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Investigation is ongoing in this case.
