OLDHAM COUNTY, TEXAS -- $76,000 worth of marijuana is now off the streets, thanks to a routine traffic stop by a Potter County Sheriff's Deputy Thursday.
According to the Potter County Sheriff's Department, a Deputy caught a vehicle with California license plates speeding inside the county on Interstate 40. The Deputy pulled the car over just inside the Oldham County line.
During the traffic stop, four pounds of methamphetamines were found concealed within the interior of the vehicle. The estimated street value of the meth was $76,000. Also found concealed was $39,860 in U.S. Currency.
Garcia, Maximillana Santiaga, 45, was booked into the Oldham County Jail for manufacturing/delivering of a controlled substance more than 400 grams and money laundering over $20,000 and under $100,000.
The Sheriff's Department said the investigation is ongoing.
