CIMARRON COUNTY, OKLA. -- A pedestrian from Guymon was killed early Friday afternoon after officials say he was run over by a road construction vehicle.
According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Danny J. Stump, 48, was killed just after 1:00 p.m. Friday on State Highway 171 just three miles south of Keyes, Okla.
The accident report said Stump was stringing line in a construction zone when he was run over by the right wheel tires of a Peterbilt. The machine was backing down the roadway.
Stump died at the scene.
