Overnight armed robbery being investigated

Officers continue to investigate an overnight armed robbery at a book and video store.

Amarillo Police were dispatched to Studio One at 9000 Triangle just before 12:30 Tuesday morning on reports of an armed robbery. According to police, they learned a black male entered the store produced a knife and demanded money.

The suspect is described by witnesses as a black male, about 40-45 years old, six-feet-tall and weighing about 185-195 pounds. He reportedly left in a white 1990s Chevrolet Cavalier.

Police said he was reported to be wearing a black toboggan, grey sweater, a red shirt with a white collar and blue jeans.He took an undetermined amount of money, police said.
