DUMAS, TEXAS -- Police in Dumas are continuing their search for a 17-year-old girl who they say left home without permission last week.

Lauren Michelle Rogers, 17, left home without permission sometime after 1:00 p.m. last Wednesday, Nov. 9, police said.

She may be with her boyfriend, police said. He is Joe Luis Ramon II, 20, of Borger. The couple was seen together in Borger that same afternoon at about 4:00. Police said Rogers had a small Daschund dog with her at the time.

Dumas Police first issued a statement searching for Rogers on Saturday. Detective David Garrett with Dumas Police told Pronews 7 there have been no developments in the case.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts of Rogers is asked to call Detective Garrett at the Dumas Police Department at (806) 935-3998.
